Commissioner Steinberg grew up in our community.
On the County Commission, Micky will work to update older buildings, enforce stricter safety regulations, and ensure that residents have the support they need to keep their buildings safe.
Micky will always put the health and safety of our community first. As our next County Commissioner, Micky will continue the work she started in Miami Beach — improving public safety, combating gun violence, and standing up for our first responders.
In Miami Beach, Micky championed sustainability and resiliency efforts to combat sea level rise and protect natural gems like Biscayne Bay from pollution. Now, she’s ready to continue her fight for a sustainable future on the County Commission.
For too long, Miami-Dade has dealt with traffic, unsafe streets, and a lack of accessible transit. That’s why Micky worked to alleviate traffic and promote safe streets in Miami Beach, and that’s why she’ll continue to fight for innovative transit solutions as our next County Commissioner.
As we recover from COVID-19, we need leaders who will build a strong, just economy for our county. As a businesswoman and a mother, Micky knows what it will take to revitalize local businesses, promote affordability, and rebuild a strong economy that will stand the test of time.
